ABOUT YOUNG DEVYN:
Young Devyn was born and raised in the East New York Hip-Hop section of Brooklyn, NY to Trinidadian parents. At the age of 8, she began composing, singing, and recording Soca music, eventually performing and selling out her own shows and touring with the likes of Soca music legends Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin. 11 years later, the 20-year-old phenom has evolved into a fullfledged Hip-Hop & R&B artist; An elite MC and hybrid vocalist with a compelling delivery, profound lyrics, effortless flows and infectious melodies who also injects her own signature Caribbean flavor. From her viral freestyle videos and standout appearances on Sway in the Morning & The BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher to receiving co-signs from the likes of Cardi B, Taraji P.
